Mokelumne River

Named for the River that flows from the Sierra Nevada mountain range through the AVA, the Mokelumne River AVA is one of Lodi’s cooler climates. This, coupled with its optimal soil attributes, proves to be an ideal location to grow both white and red varietals.

Clements Hills

With a hilly terrain, Clements Hills AVA has rolling hillsides that create a diversity of microclimates and soils. This terrior is well suited to red varietals, but classic French white varietals also do well.

Clarksburg

Located on the Sacramento River in the heart of the Delta, the Clarksburg AVA comprises of land boasting fertile soils at or below sea level and a unique climate that has cool mornings and temperatures that quickly cool in the evenings after a warm afternoon. This terroir is perfect for varietals that thrive in cooler climates.

Jahant

Located in the center of the Lodi AVA, the Jahant AVA is geographically the smallest of Lodi’s seven AVAs. It sits on highly dissected river terraces and old floodplain deposits. The classic Mediterranean climate receives cold air drainage and entrapment within our vineyards, ideal for growing a balanced vine and a variety of winegrapes.
