Thanks to all our Wine Clubbers that came out and enjoyed some wine and apps with us on Saturday, February 28th.  The great chefs at School Street Bistro kept the scrumptious appetizers coming as Kendra, Amanda, and I poured wine.

I think the hit of the night was our 2006 Single Barrel Petit Verdot – available to Wine Club Members only.  For some reason, we were getting lots of repeat tasters…

Our Wine Club packed the restaurant, with lots of members bringing friends and staying for dinner.  Thanks to everyone for sharing their night with us and supporting a local, family-owned restaurant!

We even snuck a few apps ourselves – my favorite was the crab cakes, matched perfectly with our 2007 Chardonnay.  And speaking of favorites, I have to take this opportunity to plug School Street Bistro’s burgers.  Mandy and I convinced them to make us one before the event started and we both died – it’s a fantastic burger!  Definitely give it a try the next time you are in the mood for the Best Burger in Lodi.

And stay tuned for details on our next Wine Club Pick Up Party!  Plan tentatively for June.
