We’ve planned two exciting events in the Press Room before the official ZinFest 2013 festivities, May 17-18.  Plan your trip to Lodi accordingly!

Wednesday, May 15th @ 6:30pm

Winemaker Dinner with Guest Chef Dan Landsberg from Texas

We’re bringing a Texan flair to Lodi.  Chef Dan Landsberg of DragonFly Restaurant/Hotel ZaZa in Dallas is flying out to feature a knock-out five-course menu paired with our wines.  Winemaker David Akiyoshi will be on hand to introduce the pairings for each gourmet dish.

We first met Dan a few years ago when he was ripping it up at Tillman’s Roadhouse in two locations – Dallas and Ft. Worth.  For all of Dan’s accomplishments, he is incredibly down to earth – so much so that he’s a self-proclaimed “Redneck Sommelier.”  See here for more on that story…

Joining Dan in the kitchen is his good friend Chef Lance Smith (Smoke Restaurant, Tillman’s Roadhouse) – known far and wide for his homemade Texas Red Clay Spice Rub.

Wine & Cheese Pairing with Winemaker Karen Birmingham & Cheese Central

Join us in the Press Room for a fun, casual and educational pairing of our family wines and artisan cheeses before you head out to dinner.  We’ll depend on Cheese Central owner Cindy Della Monica to take you through the cheese selections as Winemaker Karen Birmingham chats about our family wines.

We’ll even bundle up our custom LangeTwins cheeseboards as a take-away – so you can create your own wine and cheese pairing!
