There’s nothing more sustainable than donating blood! And thanks to everyone who showed up, dirty boots and all, for our first blood drive at the winery.  The Delta Blood Bank was spectacular with their mobile van – we had to refrain from barrel samples, so I made cookies instead.

Our thanks to everyone who donated, including Wright Insurance and Russell Horn Electric for bringing some of their crew to donate.  Next year – put it on your calendar!  The first Wednesday in June – we’ll do it again.  Like I said – the needles are sharp and the need is great.
