They came rounding the corner of the winery with their horns blaring, or I should say “…ooga, ooga…” – shiny and bright and all gorgeous! The Lodi Model A Club visited the winery on Saturday, under the direction of tour guides, neighbors and good friends Elida and Earl Harris.
The line up of cars was impressive and despite the fact that they all had secret trunks (the real deal!) to store their wine – we made some special deliveries so they didn’t have to suffer the heat of the day.
Earl Harris was actually Woodbridge Upholstery for years and years and served Randy and Brad well in repairing tractor and truck seats through the years – he has now retired and keeps the landscaping top notch at Wine and Roses a few days each week.
Gary and MaryAnn Blomgren’s Model A truck really caught my eye – just can’t figure out how to get it away from Gary to make those Wine Club deliveries!
