The rain held off for much of the day, but that doesn’t mean this race was a cake walk.  It might go down in the Sacramento Cyclocross history books as the messiest one to date.

If you think the pictures don’t do it justice, take some creamy peanut butter, mix in water and super glue and I think you may begin to understand what the racers had to pedal through.

Thanks to those brave racers that came out to join us in the harsh conditions.  And, as always, a big thank you to Guantonio’s Wood Fired Cuisine and Coffees of Hawaii for serving up their specialities.
