This Viognier Granitas recipe is almost decadent:
- Make a simple syrup: 1/2 cup granulated sugar + 1 1/2 cups of water; boil to dissolve.
- Add one bottle of LangeTwins Viognier.
- Pour into a metal cookie sheet – carefully place flat in the freezer. Every hour use your fork and ‘rake’. It takes about two – three hours to get a good fluffy granita.
- Spoon into small cups – add some bits of fresh fruit on the side.
Perfect for sitting on your porch and listening to the crickets.
