Examiner.com: Seeing Double in Lodi? You must be at LT!

Tammi Korbmaker, the Sacramento Wine Pairing Examiner Extraordinaire, dropped by the winery last Sunday on a ‘chick road trip to drink good wine.’  Tammi and two of her friends, Tessa (@tessatalks) and Jeanine, had heard of our winery from wine blogger Randy Watson’s review of our 2007 Generations Petit Verdot Petite Sirah and thought they would find out what all the buzz was about.

As soon as we tasted through a few wines, I knew they were going to be fans!  The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc and the 2007 Zinfandel were a couple favorites.  I can’t wait for them to try our 2008 Generations Viognier – to be released to our Wine Club Members in a few weeks.

Some great quotes from Tammi’s article are below – for the complete story, check it out at her Examiner page!

There are scant few wineries where I walk away from a tasting and say that I liked all of the wines I was poured.  Schug in Carneros is one.   Runquist of Amador County is another.  And now LangeTwins. All the wines were well-balanced, palate pleasing and true to their varietal characteristics.

Fantastic wines and the nicest people you’re likely to run into, the folks at LangeTwins know an awful lot about growing grapes, making wine and the forgotten art of hospitality.

I had a great time getting to know Tammi and the girls – it’s definitely one of the best parts of the job.  Spreading the word about our family winery and sharing our wines with passionate wine fans is really energizing.

Tammi is also throwing her hat into Murphy Goode’s ‘A Really Goode Job‘ contest – best of luck to you!
