It’s an early morning flight for Randy and I to race into Dallas to pour at the Dallas Wine and Food Festival, April 25th. Bravo to our great viticulture team for growing such wonderful Chardonnay and congrats to our winemakers for producing a Gold Medal Proprietary Chardonnay! Hurray – it feels great to have these wines recognized.
It will be the first opportunity to release the Chardonnay in Texas – our Wine Club Members were able to add it to their cellar a few weeks ago and the first response is always “…wow, this is yummy…” And if you have trouble finding it locally, talk to Joe about a shipping included deal he just announced.
If you’re in the Dallas area on April 25th – join us! You can find out more detailed information on their web site. I’ll be the one that is doing the two-handed pour (a technique learned last month at the Houston Rodeo).
We’ll also be sharing our other wines that medaled in the competition – the Midnight Reserve, Petite Sirah/Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Proprietary Cabernet Sauvignon.
I guess the only big decision to make now is where to head for dinner – too many great options. Any suggestions?
See y’all there!
