The much anticipated 2009 Zinfandel is nearly ready for release – here’s how to get your first taste before the thirsty hoards at ZinFest get their hands on it May 14th.

First, a little about this year’s Zinfandel:

  • Blend of the best Zin vineyards
  • Some vines 100+ years old (more on the history later!)
  • Concentrated raspberry and black cherry flavors
  • Subtle oak aging adds spice note and vanilla finish
  • Certified Green – Lodi Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing
  • And as always, not over-oaked or sweet - true to the Zinfandel varietal
