Sold Out: Our Lodi Rules Certified 2007 Chardonnay

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Maybe it was the rich tropical fruit flavors…

Maybe it was the subtle oak notes…

Maybe it was the Lodi Rules Certified sustainable winegrowing practices…

Maybe it was the cool breezes at our Delta Rim vineyard in Clarksburg…

Maybe it was the crisp acidity that welcomed another sip…

Whatever it was, you liked it so much that we’re out of stock!

Chardonnay

Stay tuned for our 2008 vintage – to be released soon.  Bottling next week!

WiseGuy Approved! Our 2008 Generations Viognier is a Hit

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

Rich Cook, the ‘Wine WiseGuy’ at Wine Wise Web, sampled our brand new (and super small lot) 2008 Generations Viognier and was really impressed!  Rich has over 20 years of experience with wine so his words are huge compliments.

He also highlighted the fact that this wine is made from sustainably grown winegrapes – all certified by Lodi Rules.  For more on Lodi Rules and responsible winegrowing, check out our sustainability page!

Viognier

Rich’s thoughts on our 08 Viognier:

Here’s a great value in a high quality Viognier for your summer pleasure.  WiseGuy has been impressed with the fruit coming out of Clarksburg. Winemaker David Akiyoshi has made a very appealing wine here that can stand on its own or as a great compliment to summer salads and grilled white meats.

Glad you liked it Rich!  It is definitely selling fast – and as the temperatures spike this summer, our Viognier will be a perfect way to cool down.
