Just this morning I filled our last Zinfandel order  – a Holiday wine gift to an unsuspecting recipient.  Little does he know that he will soon have his hands on our last bottle of 2007 Zinfandel!

So, when’s the 2008 released?

Well, I wish I could make that decision, but these things take time – and winemaking expertise!  Our 2008 Zinfandel is patiently waiting in barrel, developing into another awesome wine.

Look for our next vintage Zin early Summer 2010.

Megan aka “Wannabe Wino” LOVES Viognier – and I can see why.  Once in awhile, it’s nice to switch things up from the most popular varietals like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.  Viognier typically has more of the ripe fruit, peach and pear aromas, which sets it apart from other white wines.

But what separates our 2008 Generations Viognier from others, I think, is the aromatic nose that seems to jump out of the glass at you – Megan noticed it right away:

On the nose I found peach, pear, flowers, nectarines, white pepper, tinned pears, honeysuckle, and lemon.  This had a FABULOUS nose! I kept smelling and smelling and smelling and Matt kept draining his glass.

And her husband, Matt, obviously liked it too…

Only 140 cases of this wine was made and there’s less than half left – don’t miss out!
