Aaron was featured in the Stockton Record’s Sunday edition as part of the handful of ‘next-gen’ winegrowers and winemakers in the Lodi area.  Along with Madelyn Ripken Kolber and Adam Mettler, Aaron’s work to further our sustainability practices and Lodi Rules certification were highlighted in the article.

Sold Out: Our Lodi Rules Certified 2007 Chardonnay

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Maybe it was the rich tropical fruit flavors…

Maybe it was the subtle oak notes…

Maybe it was the Lodi Rules Certified sustainable winegrowing practices…

Maybe it was the cool breezes at our Delta Rim vineyard in Clarksburg…

Maybe it was the crisp acidity that welcomed another sip…

Whatever it was, you liked it so much that we’re out of stock!

Chardonnay

Stay tuned for our 2008 vintage – to be released soon.  Bottling next week!

The Wine Harlots have a crush on us!

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

They really like us!  The Wine Harlots tried our Lodi Rules Certified 2008 Generations Viognier and it’s official: they have a crush on us!

In addition to the wine, the label was a hit, which will make Aaron very happy – he snapped the shot of the owl in flight as it left its nesting box in our Viognier vineyard.

We really appreciate their holistic approach to wine reviewing – looking at the family behind the bottle, our values, and our commitment to responsible winegrowing:

We don’t know if you can have a crush on a winery, but Wine Harlots love the LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyards. Not only do they produce delicious juice, but their business practices regarding sustainability are to be emulated.  As a bonus, they are genuinely nice people.

We’re blushing over here! :)
